The University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan, invites qualified candidates for short-term research positions in a marine research project funded by the Petroleum Marine Development Committee (PMDC) Thatta. The project focuses on establishing an Oceanographic Survey Unit to study climate change, freshwater security, and pollution impacts on geomorphology, mangroves, fisheries, and wildlife in coastal and marine waters of District Thatta.
Qualifications Required:
1 Marine Fisheries Expert: M.Phil/Ph.D. in Marine Biology or Fisheries.
2 Geologist/Oceanographer Expert: M.Phil/Ph.D. in Geology.3 Mangrove Specialist:M.Phil/Ph.D. in Marine Science or Botany (Mangrove specialization).
4 Coastal GIS & Environment Expert:M.Phil/Ph.D. in Environmental Science or Engineering.
5 Research Fellows:BS in Freshwater Biology, Marine Biology, or related fields.6 Field Assistant/Helper: Literate with fieldwork experience.
